ABOUT US

Like two raccoons rummaging through a trash bin of millennials, Liz and Jeff met by swiping right on each other on Tinder one fateful February evening in 2018.

HOW IT STARTED

I’LL TAKE FATE FOR $1,000 ALEX

Within 24 hours Liz and Jeff met at the first of many instances of trivia in their soon to be shared lives. Over an appetizer of brussel sprouts at Surly Brewing, Liz and Jeff did not place in the hosted trivia night, the first in a lifetime of consoling each other over a shared L.

DOG PARK WEDNESDAYS

Liz introduced Jeff to her joy in life, Rosie, at Arlington Arkwright Dog Park that Spring. Rosie was less than enthused by this new man taking up her mom’s time. Through many Wednesdays over several months, Liz and Jeff would meet at the dogpark to walk, talk, and most importantly, win Rosie over. Soon Rosie associated her favorite place with this new guy, and was as in love with Jeff as Liz was.

SMASH CUT TO...

A lake shore in July 2023 where Liz and Jeff had hiked a small trail. Looking out across the water, Jeff’s heart raced. Fiddling with the ring box in his fanny pack, he couldn’t remember the last time he was this nervous over a girl.

Jeff nervously fumbled over an attempt at a sincere restrospective on their 5 years together before taking a knee and asking Liz to marry him. She thoughtfully set aside the bag of dog poop she was holding before saying yes, and kicking off the string of events that lead you here.
